The Top 3 No-Brainers All Spring Breakers Should Always Think About

Collegiate folks rejoice! The holiday vacay just ended, and yet the follow-up to the fall semester hiatus has arrived once again. Barely two months removed from family, food and festive free-for-alls, the 2019 edition of Spring Break is here! And with the chaotic planning and packing in full swing, the excitement of what’s to come reigns supreme.

Sure enough, many of you are already on your way to your respective beach bash destinations. Of course, some are planning an alternate course of action, favoring off-the-beaten-path excursions to bypass the massive college scenes. But for most, the stage is set for their arrival to many of today’s well-known coastal hotspots. Even some of the legendary crowd-pleasers from yesteryear will become overnight party scenes.

Not to be the bummer public service announcement, but with many distractions well worth your time and attention, please consider the variables these 3 obvious no-brainers, and what they have to offer, before departing. As with life, they're a sign of the times, and they're always a changing.

Expenses

Wherever you go this year, like any Spring Break season, NOT breaking the bank is the name of the game. Super popular spots like South Padre Island, Texas have scores of cheap hotels and Air BnBs to keep your room and board bills at bay. The same can be said for those choosing to backpack another part of the world for less a congested experience. And thanks to the miracle power of the internet, there are a plethora of online opportunities abound for the academic explorer.

Travel

Time is money, as they say, and clearly, timing is everything when it comes to not only where you go, but how you get there. Be it plane, train, automobile and, of course, boat, enjoying your travels always helps with a positive destination experience. And nothing says positive more than killer deals when it comes to airfare (if you can find them), train fare (yes, they're out there), rental care rates (why put the miles on your ride?), and the cruises. No doubt, discount travel sites are the millennial go-to when it comes to their digital declaration of independent thrill-seeking, wherever it may be. So make it worth your while.

Safety

Although never the most exciting part of the Spring Break experience, safety still plays a huge role as to where any will spend their downtime gettin’ down. But like travel options and overall expenditures, playing it safe wins the war of Spring Break battles. Knowing where to be and when to be there makes all the difference when it comes to enjoying the outbound version of college life, especially with friends and fellow collegiate classmen and women. Doing one’s due diligence can help everyone enjoy everything this year’s Spring Break vacation can and will offer.

After all, these are some of the best year’s of your lives, before it becomes time to graduate to the next phase of life. And whether an undergrad or grad student, going about such getaways with your closest peers offer the potential for cherished memories to last a lifetime. All it takes is a little preparation and precaution to make it happen both wisely, and wildly. ;-)
