CBD Courses - A Growing Trend in Colleges and Universities

As the popularity of CBD and CBD-related products have skyrocketed in recent years it's no wonder that more and more courses are popping up at colleges and universities around the country. If you're interested in a career in CBD you'll want to know more about the courses and resources that can help you build a thriving business.

Courses1

Eastern Oklahoma State College launched a CBD production course that teaches students how to process and grow organic cannabidiol.

The American College of Apothecaries, located in Tennessee, also offers a “Get To Know CBD Oil” program designed to educate pharmacists and technicians on the topic.

Vermont Technological College is also offering an in-house program that will allow students to earn a CBD and Greenhouse Cash Crop Certificate. Instructors Dave Hartshorn and Christine Motyka specialize in hydroponic growing and all aspects of the CBD business. Training is done in a three-part series and will cover the chemistry of CBD production, laws pertaining to CBD production, cultivation methods for CBD and hydroponics use for greenhouse cash crops.

There are also plenty of online classes and one-day trainings that can help you discover the world of CBD. I suggest looking into the TMCIGlobal or the CBD Training Academy.

CBD & Your Health

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the clinical use of CBD is most advanced in the treatment of epilepsy. In clinical trials, CBD has been demonstrated as an effective treatment for at least some forms of epilepsy. It may be a useful treatment for a number of other medical conditions, as well as a possible therapeutic application to treat drug addiction.

With all the positive findings on CBD and its health benefits, it's no wonder more people are turning to careers in CBD chemistry and production.

In this 6-page laminated guide, author Joel Hathaway (Hemp Magazine) has created the ultimate reference filled with the answers you need to understand CBD and hemp’s history, health applications, use as a food supplement and commodity crop. A multitude of new applications for hemp are included that will open the door to businesses that will boom like the CBD business is now, which was a focus and mission of The Farm Bill - to create a gold rush of new products and industry for the U.S. This thorough fact-filled reference can help you be healthier - but may also inspire a new business venture.

Other resources can be found on the web—but remember—there are many non-factual findings, so do your homework and make sure the source is a credible one.
