BarCharts is OPEN for business, but I do want to share how BarCharts Publishing is addressing the COVID19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
Most employees will be working remotely through our system which allows us to continually respond to your needs. To ensure product ordered is shipped timely and safely*, we will have split shifts with a minimal crew to limit contact between employees and product. No employees have exhibited symptoms and we have focused attention on following recommendations by the CDC for keeping contact and areas clean. We are anticipating minimal disruption in the service you have come to expect from us.
All of our office employees will be working from home, answering phones and e-mails, processing orders and developing our new upcoming titles. By continuing to work hard for you our employees can continue to receive their full-time pay so that they have absolutely no disruption in taking care of themselves and their families in such a difficult time.
As with all of you, I can only hope that the social distancing we are all practicing can help see this pandemic pass as quickly as possible. I also hope that everyone stays healthy and safe.
