Vincent (Vince) Perez, world-renowned and award-winning medical illustrator has dedicated his life to perfecting his work. For decades, Vince’s work has illuminated the study of anatomy for millions of students and health-care professionals worldwide. His first anatomy guide he created for BarCharts was in 1994. From then he has worked on over 35 different anatomical reference guides along with his Atlas of Human Anatomy which contains a majority of Vince’s illustrations. Vince is a full-tenured professor at the California College of Arts (CCA), where he has chaired the illustration and drawing programs that he developed. He holds a B.F.A in graphic arts and illustrations from Pratt Institute in New York, and an M.F.A in painting from the California College of Arts & Crafts. Kizlik, Ph.D., is a mathematician and teacher. Currently, Dr. Kizlik teaches mathematics in Broward County, Florida. Previously, she taught at the Henderson School at Florida Atlantic University for 23 years. Dr. Kizlik specializes in teaching pre-algebra, algebra I and II, plane geometry, analytical geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and statistics at high school and college levels. She has received the following teaching awards/certification: Florida Master Teacher; Florida District Teacher of the Year; Florida League of Teachers; National Board Certification. Additionally, she participates in writing mathematics curricula and mentoring teachers. Her master’s and doctoral degrees are from Florida Atlantic University.
